i replace LD(bk), mother fucker get sc231 ,replace the old one the same sc 231 . replace the laser unit to another machine get sc221!
and i replace the laser unit ~~ fuck the japanese~~ what the fuck desige~~

did you input the laser default value on the new laser sticker?
You should check the manual when replacing a new LD unit.

sure i did it ... in fact the sticker is adjust the copy areas , not input can still working ...

Looking at your example, I have one question, is this definitely a problem with BLACK PRINTS only? Not color or copy.

Zhou I hope the laser unit you order is not from another working machine cus you can brick both machine . Each laser store a special value at factory setting. The best way would do a force line position and reset the ld values and reinsert the values from the birth certificate. If this doe not fix it, call a qualify tech from ricoh

when i replace the ld ,i try to do a line position and reset the ld values ,it fail.... follow the manual do in sp mode .get sc231

i am sorry that the laser unit is from another working machine, i do nothing and install .......... nothing wrong with the qualify and i backhome....
both the machine is not new ,those are all from Janpan or Euro and American second hand (the GOVEMENT IS FORBEND TO import this , some people have some way ..you konw..).................
