    Aficio 2020

    I have no folder options for smb but the smb protocol is on and i can set the workgroup and all but i have no smb folder option in the web access or the address book??
    also I have the email sender default set to set as sender in the protocol and the machine still says no sender selected please select sender??? I have this defaulted in the web access and the address book on the machine??? still wont default
    Is there bit switches some where that turns this on or off?? ive never had a machine NOT have this when it has everything else working...???? Please help..Im out of hair and options...

      The 2020 can't scan to folder by itself. Keep in mind that this is a very old machine, and that ScanRouter was required to get folder scanning at the time.

      The only reason you see SMB is for printing, NOT scanning.

      Don't remember too much about defaulting the email sender on this machine, if it was possible or not. Hopefully someone else may be able to answer that a bit better.

          To get rid of the "specify sender" message, you need to turn on "auto specify sender name" (on any of the ricoh boxes), which is generally in User tools / system settings/ file transfer.
          Ken's right about the scanning to folder
