    Sounds easy enough. I'll try that next time instead of bending the corner of the machine down. Might be more advisable.

        I got a pile of these feeders across a bunch of different machines. Popping the top cover off the feeder and putting washers/spacers in with the springs has worked well for me.

          I just had this problem last week and this is definitely the way to go. I've had colleagues replace both hinges to get rid of this issue. Replacing one of the spring-bearing screws on the left hinge with a shorter one did it perfectly for me last time; once I run out of those, it'll be all washers.
