    MPc3500 SC 400

I have a MPc3500 that throws a SC 400 and will not let my tech run process control, toner add, and will not clear the code. My tech pulled and cleaned all drum units and ID Sensor board.

    Any ideas?

Firmware is all current and the code just appeared out of the blue

    Thanks

Clean the ID sensor, make sure you remove all toner on the sensors as well as the frame around the sensors. If the message reappear replace the sensor.

Make sure to clean the sensors with a wet cloth. If you use a dry one you generate static electricity which will attract toner to the sensors.
