[Misc] refill fuser oil in a 2238c.

I have 3 of theses units (Ricoh 2238c) and use them as mass flyer printers. I dont want to blow any more fusers. But I do want to refill the oil units. I have the DIMETHYLPOLYSILOXANE all I want to do is pour it in the unit. per-say
I have the will. does anyone know of the way?

The easiest and most effective way is:

Lanier LD232C Fuser Oil Unit, Genuine (A4215)

    or

Trying to refill these is pretty much the best way to get yourself a blown fuser or a really slick floor.

Then replace the oil units as suggested. Problem (and MESS) resolved.

Are you using the high capacity Oil Unit B149 9500? Might make things easier on your fusers if your doing high volume.

I've been a rebel all my life so I'm going to try it anyhow.
The hole is small and last time I spilled a bit this time I'm using a squeeze gun nozel and will pour in 50mm at a time, 400mm refill should take roughly 1/2 hour.

Not a good idea. But if you are a rebel then do not forget to replace the fuse on the oil supply unit so that the machine can detect that "you" have replaced the unit. Secondly i would also look at the long life oil supply unit and also increase the value of your oil supply unit through SP 7905-14.

                But good luck!

I was going to re-set the fuser oil, replace the fuse?. OK if I can find one. Thanks.
