    Ricoh 2090 service in Ft Lauderdale

    Hey guys,

    I need some service on a ricoh 2090. I think there is an issue with my developer assembly. Pages are toning. I've tried several "dealers" in the area but they cant seem to fix the problem. New PM kits and developer have been installed.

    Any ideas? anyone in the area want to take a look at it?

      If by toning you meant the parts of your prints that are supposed to be white are gray, the drum in your machine is probably worn out and needs to be replaced. The drum is not a part of any PM kit. If you get the drum replaced, it is important to make sure that the drum cleaning blade gets changed then as well.

          Don't forget to check if the mag roller's coated.

              sometimes the drum does not reach the target prints seems to its a drum problem or toner issue

                  The last tech that was in cleaned the blade. Started clean and then 500-1000 sheets it started toning again.

                  i'm thinking the developer assembly has a crack or a seal is gone because it seems i'm getting excess toner when i open the right hand door.
