Hi all. I am working on an ES1105 which I believe is the Ricoh 1107 which is displaying the must restart after system check message, and copies are a bunch of black lines. I am assuming a charge leak or bias problem, but would like some feedback from you guys. Pics attached. On the SMC report, a bunch of SC300* are recorded, so looks like a charge issue. I came across the exact same problem on the same model at a different location. The copier is new and been there about 3 months. It had excessive toner dusting and 528K on developer. I cleaned up the toner dusting and replaced the developer. It was fine after that. I am thinking it was the toner dusting providing a path to ground causing the black wavy lines as shown in previous post pics. He said it would do that every 15 copies or so, then error with the wavy black lines. What say you? DaveComment
