    Looking for a good (free) packet capture program. Tried downloading ethereal, but keep getting a corrupted error code. Any suggestions. thanks

    I think you can get Wireshark for free.

          This a short thread I started awhile back... although I never did put together that tutorial on troubleshooting, it's good place to start anyway.
