If the part number is known for the dev drive motor I would be appreciative.

Thanks again for all of your help

Dev unit drive gears could also be at fault, they strip quite easily if the dev unit siezes.

My apologies if I've posted in a fax forum...I saw no indication.

The small harness is the one we're referring to, and you have the old one (brown end). It's only the actual touch screen or "contact glass" that needs to be replaced - not the circuitry. The problem is that the compound used to connect it to the screen dries out and becomes brittle, and then the panel becomes unresponsive.
I don't know of any sort of 'load test'. I'll state again -I'm pretty sure you're looking at a developer motor

check the touch panel to see if the connector ribbon is brown...if so you will need to replace it with the updated panel that has a white tip (B2231484) Here are the postings in Gooses guide about the SC code. Sometimes the bearings will bind up with low copy volumes. Physcially inspect the CMY developers and turn them. Hope this helps.
SC 325 Color developer unit bound, clean or replace dev unit.
SC 325 Color developer motor bound or defective.

I have no parts but lots of heart...at least at the moment. All devs/drums turn, cant seem to find any mechanical drag to generate the 325 error.

Please help before I go insane
Seems to me that you've been given some decent advice regarding this EXACT problem that you've also posted in the fax forum Here: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ri...325-error.html
Why not pay attention to therm, try a few of the solutions already offered by myself, and others, and then give us some feedback on your progress??

With regards to the SC325, if the units all turn freely, then you probably need a motor.
"Heart", unfortunately isn't going to be enough for a couple of your issues I'm afraid
