I am Trying To Figure Out How to Turn On Bates Stamping On The Ricoh C3001/3501/4501/5501 Series. I have been though all the manuals but no luck. The Sales Brochure says it has it. Hope some one can help.

Bates stamping is an incremental numbering system that sequentially numbers the bottom of each printed page. Most commonly used in the legal community. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Excepting that it doesn't reset to zero. It just keeps counting up. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Did you get Bates Stamping to work? I found in the manual that it is SP 5227-200 but the MPC3501 I am working on does not have that SP. Is there a firmware upgrade like the old 2090's? I have a PO'd attorney because the brochure makes it sound like the machine includes Bates Stamping and will convert scanned docs to editable word, excel and powerpoint files.
