I am visiting this machine tomorrow that is regularly rebooting due to the above codes. I have cleaned the id sensors and I got the codes again. I am going armed with drum. Blades. dev. Also going to give the potential sendor for yellow a clean. Anything in particular I should look out for as I want to get this sorted this time...

As per your footer "Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential" well you are about to give that vac the work out of it's life!
FYI and not trying to be silly here...Unless you are very experienced with these machines and the previous models (7500 and 3260) I would advise you to arrange a tech that is. They are a unique case that requires a good understanding of their inherant issues. Good Luck - let us know how it went. I would have expected to see the other PCU's requiring work also. -
Thanks for the repliy. The machine has recently been refurbished ( so im told) but I will look at the other pcus. Coincidentally another tech is looking at this machine with me who has more experience. I have seen many posts of their troubles and relevent tech bulletins regarding dev setup and other issues. The problem with said machine is that its a trade machine that I have no history of! I will let you know how I got on in any case.Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essentialComment

I've got two V-3's doing this on our patch. I've escalated it to Product Support and I'll let you know what I hear back. They seem to respond to a damn good vac out, literally every part of it, but I don't know about a final fix yet. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Re: mpc 7501 sc 409 and 413
I rebuilt Y PCU and also replaced c,y and m devs as i was not happy with the cq.
The one issue we did have though, was that the auto dev fill would not start so we had to manually fill the dev ubit before initallizing it.
The toner does not vac off that easy neither, despite me having a powerful 3M Vacuum.
All results and checks were displaying good readings 10101010 for process control and dev setup showed 1111.
Fingers crossed.Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essentialComment

Re: mpc 7501 sc 409 and 413
Right, product support's resolution on this was to replace the entire transfer belt assembly and the yellow PCU including developer unit. The SC's stopped after that. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Thanks for the reply, i suppose rebuilding the y unit (drum and dev) sorted it for me, although their blanket approach to the fix is going to give more piece of mind.Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essentialComment
