[CQ] AF2022 white spots on solid black areas

    matrax.jpg
Copied from a blackout original, but all solid black and gray areas have a similar pattern whether copied or printed. I've seen this on several of the 22/27 CPM machines and was curious if anyone has an idea why this happens.

Try cleaning the laser optics and also check the transfer roller: when they start to wear you can get all kinds of white splotches that look like laser issues.

      Bad transfer roller.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

looks like the pcu is not too spry too..your blacks should be much better..
also ck the metal connector to your transfer roller..clean it and bend if not contacting the transfer unit..
