    [Dead] Ricoh Aficio 3030 copier SC 672 error code

    Hi,
    The copier ricoh aficio 3030 give error sc 672. I have changed the ram chip and still give this error. According to manual this due to controller board. Is there a fuse below the controller according to some thread I have read regarding this error.

      Try re-flashing firmware, Check/re-seat the MBU to FCU connection. Otherwise, it probably needs a controller.

          this thread encountered to me .check that ram 128 and 256 and detect that already assembled .next step controller board my be corrupted.some tiny capacitors drop from CB.

              Hi Sandmanmac,

              Do you have the firmware for this model or where I can download it from the website. If you have kindly e-mail it to me and I will try it. I have checked the two fuse 5A 250v below the controller board and both are in good condition and also the MBU to FCU connection. My e-mail address

                  On my controller the ram 128 in slot 1 and 256 in slot 2. I have already check both and they are okay. I suspect that the controller may be corrupted but unfortunately did not have the firmware to flash it. Regarding some tiny capacitors drop from CB can you explain more details regarding this. Is it that the capacitor leaks and need replacemant and exactly which one.
