    RICOH MP6001

    desar all.


    i have a problem with ricoh mp6001. copier gets hang after its get ready.i check the controle board and up date the firmware. i suspect there is problem with A C drive board.


    any body found this problem /please help me.

      What do you mean by "hang"? Are there any SC's logged,can you go into service mode or user menu? More info please.

          Try formatting and/or replacing the hard drive.

              Thanks for u r mail. After copier shows ready none of the panel keys are working.
              IF OPENING THE FRONT DOOR , THE COPIER SHOWS READY.

              I REMOVE THE CONTROLE BOARD AND CHECK WITH OTHER MP 6001 IT IS WORKING FINE. I UP LODED THE NEW FIRMWARE.
              THE FUNNYEST THINGS SOME TIME NONE OF THE PANEL LIGHT IS NOT WORKING. SOME TIME THIS COPIER WILL WORK .
              I HAVE ABLE TO PRINT THE SMC AFTER UP LODE THE FIRMWARE.


              I SUSPECT THE PROBLEM WITH THE POWER SUPLY OF THE AC FILTER BOARD.

              IF U KNOW ANY IDEA PLS MAIL ME,.

                      As Eric mentioned see the SC Codes on SMC, It will help you isolate the problem.

                          Looks like a control panel problem, or the control panel gets no power.
