mpc2800 panel/screen issue

we have changed the lcd on a ricoh mpc2800, plugged it in and its back to new right? wrong, the screen went out after rebooting the machine??? checked all the connections, never had this happen, ive changed many a ricoh screen,
we bent the control panel section and it came back to life, but went away again, could it be grounding out? its put back the same way it came out, and we have checked all the screws and wires, nothing pinched...????
circuit board possibility?

If the screen is functioning briefly, then you will need to reseat all connections and check for any possible damage. Hopefully, just reseating should fix it.
