It is mis-registering intermittently and at different lengths. I replaced p/u sep and feed tires And ADF belt. Ended up putting on an ADF from another machine and that worked fine. Not sure where to start looking for the malfunction... Any help would be very appreciated...

Re: Ricoh MP 900 ADF Mis-registration
well my first thing is whats the smc say where its jamming? whats the scan counter saying? problem now is its off the m/c so you cant do that but go for the sensors first i.e paper dust. Sep torque limiters have been known to split, some feed belt rollers have one way bearings in them. input mode for sensors on doc feed. you have various options on this but it neds to go back on a machine to try these out. -
Re: Ricoh MP 900 ADF Mis-registration
It's not jamming unfortunately. The registration is off sometime about 2 mm and sometimes 4mm. And sometimes dead on. (No regular pattern). Also this is when copying 1 side only. Replacing the feed tires and document belt fixed it for a bit.Comment

Re: Ricoh MP 900 ADF Mis-registration
Did you clean the registrationsensor and there's no paperdust on the blackspot it's looking on?
Did you adjust the belt speed sp 6xxx. (can't remember the exact sp)
Is it possible the ADF is on "thin paper"? ( No reverse movement to the ruler )Comment
