x86 or x64 mean absolutely nothing in terms of scanning. The only thing the two processor types do is determine how much memory an application or process can use for addressing. Like nmfaxman said: have you checked the antivirus or firewall? have you also determined whether or not the machine's firmware level is correct for the higher level of NTLM used by Windows 7? Have you also checked to see if there are any group policies in place on the network? Some network admins have set their networks to only accept NTLMv2 and to completely block NTLM and LANMan attempts at communication. They may also have the old NetBIOS port of 137 blocked, which Ricoh still uses for scanning.Comment
