Another SC 670 for MP C2550

We are experiencing this error a week ago and still not solve even we change the Controller board and BICU board. Anybody here can give us support. Thanks.

make sure that the boards you used to isolate were tested good.

The manual refers to the "engine board" for sc670, not controller board or BICU. What the heck is the engine board ? , I can find no reference to "engine board" in the rest of the manual. And certifiedxeroxtech, I was trying very hard to concentrate on your message, slightly distracting strobe flashing on & off in my face from that avatar. Wow !

Have you tried replacing or testing NVRAM? or try disconnecting the HDD or test to replace it? or if happen you replaced a BICU you must inlist the serial number of the machine...

rsyarcia, thanks. Was confused by the manual saying just "engine",instead of as normally, "BICU". Not the normal terminology.

andy227 haha! I am freakin' feelin' bad about issues like these. So I decided to put on some heavy thing while working. We currently order NV ram thing as per experience for these models and hopefully we get the results this week. Thanks for the replies. I will post a feedback soon.

Sc670 = controller baord.

had this many times and it worked.... also check the pins inside the Rj45 conector as these sometimes bend and short the board out.

I have met a lot of sc 670 error code (other machine) which i coluld solved.
Check the communication cabel between the IOB-BCU (poor connection)
