[CQ] C/Q SPC 242 SF

Dear experts ,

I am having a problem with NASHUATEC SPC 242 SF , It's giving light (dull & poor) output while copying but while printing and engine(self) test page it seems to be perfect.I serviced the optics unit and laser unit also & the current engine firmware is 1.03 . Still i am getting the same . Kindly assist me to solve this issue.

The fact that it only happens when making copies and NOT when printing to it or doing internal test prints, pretty much rules out the laser.I would think that you have a lamp (or lamp driver) problem in that machine.As far as I recall, it uses a CIS with integrated LED array, which would be my first stop, seeing that you had already cleaned the optics.Also, is the copy glass clean, as these seem to get a dull haze on the inside of the copy glass that affects copies.
