    Scanning to a network share

    A color image takes 10 minutes
    A Black and white image is instant

    Does it take 10 min for the scan to complete processing and then sent (memory goes back to 100%) or 10 min for the file to show up in the client. Is this a pdf or jpeg format? Try switching the two file types and see if there is a difference. Make sure firmware is up to date and then check your compression settings.

      They are using PDF

      I am not there yet, it was elevated to me from another tech. I will update post with more info/solution if i find one when i get there this morning.

        Check the resolution that scans are set at: for general documents, 300 dpi is usually sufficient even if they're colour. Compression, like teebee said, is also a good setting to check.

          Ok im here now so i can give more info.

          There are 3 machines all using the same delivery server.
          PDF, 200 DPI

          1 machine works great, the other two take 10 minutes or more to send 2 or more sheets as a pdf when 1 or more of then have any color in them. It will say processing.

          Working:

          Savin 9040

          Not Working:
          Savin 9250SP
          Savin MP 7502

            Issue is resolved!
            Auto density needed to be turned on.
