Of course, you can even fly the fucker to Mars if ya do enough work to it.

    Jokes, no you cant.

They won't, because it's fraud. It's like rolling back the odometer on a car.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

Just replace the black IC on the controller with a spare one from any old computer. Then fire up machine in meter clear mode and run the wipe routine from the console, reset the nic and your good to go.

Anyways guys, if its not safe to disclose trade secrets here, you can PM me. I am in the same trade.

To be specific, I am looking for answer to reset MPC3000.

I think resetting is not a fraud, we are not selling these machine as new machine, we sell them as remanufactured, and resetting is part of the service. Like replacing new drum and rollers or scanner.

No, it's fraud and dishonest, and that's not what this forum is about.... being dishonest. It is a forum for people of the same interest, i.e. helping each other give our customers the best possible service. Now go and bang your head on the ground until you are forgiven....

Dude, we sell them fully recond also - and ALWAYS with the original low meter counts. We only refurb low vol machines. Quite frankly I think your prospective customers would be fine with that - ours are. 0 meter just looks wrong.

So just save yourself an enormous amount of stuffing around and keep the meters real. It's no big trade secret -it's simple a bloody nightmare - ESPECIALLY on a colour machine as you describe. But yes any old IC will do.

We always put new counters on Refurbs due to it makes it easier for meter charge contracts. 1st of all you need to download the nvram data to a Sd card using sp5-824-001 then you need to replace the NVRAM b230 9590 then when the new nvram is in place reinstall on the new Nvram the data on the sd card using SP5-825-001. The Part Number for the NVRAM that is situated on the Controller Differs from machine models the one you need is the B230 9590 that's the same one on the MPC2000, 2500 and 3000 the MPC2800,3300,4000 and 5000 use D023-9590.... Don't forget to give me Rep points this message will self destruct when a mod feels the need to delete it :P
