MP W2400 Add Toner Sign On

    MP W2400 Add Toner Sign On

    Add toner sign lights up but after replacing new toner is still the same.
    After checking the gears, toner spring clutch, and also replacing the developer, problem still occurs..
    What seems to be the problem.?

      Drum drive pulley spinning free, on drum shaft, believe it or not!!!
      Check setscrews, both...

          I believe I have already checked the setscrews and both are tight. Is it related to the ID sensor, powerpacks?

              when you replaced the developer are you able to print or copy atleast 10 pages or immediately the machine ask for toner? if that's the case you have to check the belts attached on the main motor(drives the dev't unit). make sure that the set screw and belt are tight. verify if the toner cartridge is for that model.

                  After replacing the developer, the add toner sign still came on. Just a few hours ago, i have replaced the ID sensor and everything went back to normal.
