    [Error Code] Replace c/unit fuser mp5002

    Good morning all,

    please assist!
    i have an issue of replace cleaning unit fuser unit but the copier is brand new!
    i have reset the counters but to no avail i went a step further and replaced the NV ram's but the error will not go!
    has any one come across this problem?

    Somebodys broken the Little actuator off the end of the Cleaning web.

      hi Bantams,

      the actuator is intact i think you mean the one when the web run out it stops with an error?

          Either the web was out, or SP 1902-001 needed to be set to 0 if it was just replaced.

            This particular model is a bitch on the web. There are 3 SP's that have to be cleared when the web is replaced. The web consumption counter, SP 1902-001, needs to be set to 0. Web PM counter has to be reset with SP 7804-005. The Web parts counter has to be reset using SP 7806-008. Once they have all been reset you then have to power cycle the MFP.

            First time I had to do one of these I had to call Tech Support and find out what to do.
