    Ricoh 1022

What causes a black streak on backside of copy @ lead edge; from side to side. If multiple copies are made only shows on the first copy; yet on every single copy. Transfer roller or PCU unit???
    Thanks!!!

Replace the pcu unit and all will be good again.

Both, PCU is overtoned and the transfer roller is dirty from the excess

Maybe also turn on transfer roller cleaning? That's in SP2 service mode, near the end.

if your PCU is new check the quality of the toner if you have another type change it.

Cause: the toner concentration of developer is too high.
            Solution:
Change pcu , or developer, or use genuine ricoh toner ;-)
