Hello, all colors showing add toner, and when the customer runs more that ten copies it will give message to replace toner tubes. I tried replacing the toner tubes and the message never changes, and the indicates all show no bars left (empty condition). This tells me that possibly the RFID sensor is possibly not functioning. I'm not sure if I should clear out the engine memory or replace the RFID board. I guess there are also components in the mix like nvram main board etc. that can also cause this issue. I'm not sure what to expect when clearing engine memory, or what adjustment I will need to make after. Thanks

it does not have an issue with copy quality, or toner getting to the dev. units. the main problem is it does not recognize a new or old bottle, it just thinks it's the same bottle. This to me is some communication issue. it just keeps saying replace toner on all four colors! ThanksComment

*I went through the toner end detection which was very helpful!
* First part sp3044-001 shows 0-2 I was set at 2 so then going to the next step sp5803-35,36,37,38 there was no change of state when removing the bottles, all 4 toners.
*I then disabled the toner end detection and rebooted the machine, message went away. then ran about 25 sky shots so as to watch toner bottles rotate, they rotate then continues. I dont believe all toner end sensors are bad.
*then checked the toner density sensor output. sp3201 Black2.94 Magenta 1.71 cyan 3.01 yellow 1.48
then compared it to vtref sp3222 2.94 1.64 2.91 1.40
all values seem to be in spec.
* at this point the nvram could be an issue or I may need to clear the engine memory. like I said in the previous threads that quality is good and toner is getting to the dev.

Check for SC logs. Does it log something in the range on SC681-SC683?
Thats for RFID miss-communication.

Cool, all kinds of stuff to check! I think these are the things I needed to check originally. Now are these out put checks done with the toner tubes in and out, or am I just checking to see if there turned on?Comment

If there is a miss-communication when enabling the checks you should get an SC681-xxx with toner bottle on.Comment

I had this fault just this week...all colors reporting as near end despite the customer replacing toners.
Clearing NVRAM Engine solved it.Comment
