[CQ] MP C2000 Parts of print missing

Hello to all. We have a MP C2000 doing some strange thing. When printing some big documents (but once i saw it even on a 2 pages one) at some random page it decide not to print some part as in the attachment. The PCU are all new (not the developers but i can gurantee there are into life). It happens almost when printing a double-sided A3 page. You gyus have any clue? Tried PCL5, RPCS and PCL6 (don't have a PS on this one) so i think its not driver related. The shutter plate was removed prior to this problem and putting it back doesn't resolve. So here is the attachment.
    20130620085743420.pdf
The left part is missing at about 10cm

I'm thinking it is a bad ram memory issue but not so sure about that.
    Thanks in advance

Yes sometimes it prints ok. Its a 10mb pdf file wich expands to 870mb circa in spooling. But this is the last case. It happened twice even with small documents where i doesn't gave much importance coz the shutter was still in place. After removing it I didn't have any more calls on this machine till this document comes out. They are trying also to print it with margins = 0.

edit: Firmware updated (everytihng) when I removed the shutter.

Maybe I should try PS and hope it'll give better results.

The shutter can be removed, it can cause more trouble in the long run. I would try a different file and program combination, especially if the document was created with Word. Sometimes Word can ignore pictures or text that it considers in the background, even with the option to turn on printing background and invisible objects (Page Setup). If you export the file as a PDF and it prints fine, then you can assume that the application is at fault. Try generating a simple page or two of Lorem Ispum text, paste it to Notepad and try printing that.

If all else fails, try cleaning the RAM boards of swap them with a functioning machines.

Well the problem here is with pdf files (it's more often with big files) not with word files. As you see in the attachment the last sentence is cut in half (the one above "cavo prolunga da 1metri .....") and so the other text above it does not show at all. But let's try your suggestions first (swapping the ram modules) and than see what happens. Thanks a lot for your help

For giggles, see how it prints in black and white.

Unless the machine physically loses power during printing, that is most likely because of bad or ill configured print jobs.

Found out it was the pdf file itself. The only way I could print it well was with PostScript card installed. Removing the PS card so using RPCS driver and choosing in Adobe (print as image) also resolved the issue.

BTW: How the hell do you set the PS driver to print with live margins?

p.s.: Thanks a lot to all of you.
