    MP7500 SC 611

    Hi Guys and Gals,
I am getting an intermittent sc611 on this machine (BICU-ADF com error). I have reseated connectors involved with no joy. Before I order a new DF board, I wanted to see if anyone has run into this particular code and what fixed your machine. All other operations are normal including the ADF functions(until it codes).

    Hi mikadonovan,
i saw this code at 11th of June, SC621 also was loaded at service Log. just once!!!
My customer that day have had serious problems with power supply into his shop.
He connected two hard working copiers at the same wall jack that day...it is a copy center..
Since then, untill today, the only SC that is logged is SC 990, two times.
    Conclusion is yours..

P.S. I did absolutely nothing to fix it, of course!!

I think I may have located the problem. This was not a new machine when we got it, and I discovered yesterday that a couple of wire harnesses had electrical tape on them to cover damaged wire. I found another three wires that had been crimped somewhere along the line. I intend to replace them this afternoon.

Problem has been resolved. Out of the six harnesses that provide com to the Bicu, the 2 damaged ones were not at fault. The harness that comes from the adf and plugs into the back of the machine was bad. First time I've ever had to replace one of those.
