You must enter the "Key Operator" e-mail address, which should be a known good working address. Hope that helps

          Hello,

Can you be a bit more specific? Are you having troubles by scanning to mail or to folder?
Or can't you find a place to enter the destinations?
You also have to enter a gateway in interface, and a senders name near by smtp settings.
The adressbook to enter the destinations you can find in system\key-operator\adressbook.
          Is it a aficio 2045 or 2045e?

Hopefully you can do something with this....

          Kind regards,
          Froota

Try using the IP address of the smtp server instead of the name, you can look that up at network-tools.com. Just type the name of the server and select the 'lookup' radio button. You also need to provide a username and password that is valid for the smtp server account in order to authenticate the email. That should be all that is needed to make it work.

Have you read my previous post? Again...Use the IP address of the smtp server instead of the name. Go to network-tools.com to look it up. You MUST have a valid username and password for the email account (not the PC user's email username and password as these are often different to reflect the organization's domain name) but a valid username/password specifically for their telkom account. This MUST be programmed into the email setup on the machine for it to work.

Have you entered a valid "Key Operator's E-mail Address" as Unisys12 suggested long, long ago?

The admin. email address is wrong, this should be an actual email address, but that shouldn't keep it from working.

You don't have the IP address for smtp.telkom.net.id entered in the smtp server name field. When I lookup smtp.telkom.net.id on network-tools.com, I got 203.130.196.196 as the IP address. Use that instead of smtp.telkom.net.id in the smtp server name field.

If you are logged into web image monitor admin mode, there should also be fields for you to enter the
SMTP Auth. E-mail Address, SMTP Auth. User Name, and SMTP Auth. Password. Without valid entries for those fields, the email will never go through because it cannot be authenticated by the smtp server, and you do have smtp authentication on (it should be), so it is looking for that information, and it must be correct. I don't see where you have entered any of that.

Once all those things are entered properly, that should be all it needs for email to work.
