[Electrical] 3228c please reseat k toner

Hi all,
i'm trying to solve this issue; tha machine is blocked with the message "please reseat k toner".
I'm not sure it is the toner pump, it seems to me more likely a chip detection problem.
Performed this test: turned off the copier, putted on a bad chip on the Y toner and the copier doesn0t recognize the Y C and M toner also.
Putted on the same chip on the top of the K toner and the message "please reseat K toner" is still here.
Before going on and strip down the copier to change the toner pump, there is a way to ensure the chip is reading for sure?

Ciao, sono italiano e vorrei spiegartelo nella mia lingua , se non ti dispiace. Sono sicuro che il toner non e' finito e non e' un problema di pompa toner , altrimenti la copiatrice ti avrebbe segnalato " aggiungere toner " e non " reinstallare cartuccia toner nero", quindi e' un problema di chip o del connettore verde che non fa un buon contatto. prima cosa da fare e' togliere la cartuccia, flettere il connettore verde del nero in modo che faccia piu' pressione sul chip. Oppure devi provare a rimettere una vecchia cartuccia nera per vedere che effetto fa. Comunque la macchina funziona anche con chip usati , e si blocca solo se il toner non raggiunge il gruppo di sviluppo.

You could try turning off "toner end detect" in service mode. If the machine runs then I would say you have a failing toner pump - one of my least favourite jobs.

Icant imagine it being anything else but the pump at the rear near the drive.

per eliminare la condizione di toner end ma ancora nulla.


Aggiornamento: sono andato avanti con lo smontaggio ed ho rimosso l'intero alloggiamento del toner nero: alla base ci sono 2 tubi e premendoli con le dita sembra che ci sia toner all'interno. Ho visto anche un fotointerruttore, l'ho pulito ed ho pulito i contatti: ancora nulla d fatto.

Before you get to the pump check the pip that goes in to the toner container. The one that pushes the stopper.You may find it collapsed and not pushing the stopper so the toner may come out. Had it once before, and a lot easier to get to than a toner pump.

Toner pumps are not that common on this model but you can easily test in output. Is the machine saying add toner or reset cartridge ? Sounds more like faulty cartridge

Ciao, un tentativo da fare e' installare sulla copiatrice un toner nero vecchio, per vedere se cambia qualcosa. Non ti conviene per ora andare oltre questa prova. Il toner che c'e' installato adesso e' vecchio? i chip sono tutti diversi e non si possono scambiare.

It 's amazing how the dealer has scrapped this copier for a defective toner cartridge.
