firmware version? controller nvram defect?
Is SP5045 at "1"?
I dont thinks its the NVRAM because 5990 is working. Controller maybe.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

hi jomama,
5.045 is to 0 (initial position) cause i ve page counter.
client must send me 5.990 all ;tomorow .i ll see all 7.803.804 and 8 menu to verify all counter) .at frist i ll put 5045 0 to 1 (to have development counter and see if it moves) and try to insert (another time) firmware copy/system and engine ( we ve last firmware in machine).i think problem come from firmware up date or controller nvram fault.
5945 to 0 means it will count development cycles not copies. However it should still be "growing"
If you changed it back to 0 after being at 1, that may be the problem. I have never encountered it but the manual says you can only change it one time. You may have to replace the controller and NVRAM.

hi,
thk for your help jomana46
the technical dealer send us 5.990.1 ( we re broker, and we compare it with our original sp5.990.all, we have it for each copier sold ) :
we find 5.045 to 2 ???? and they say :they 're technical and dealer :
i don't known why they put to 2 sp 5.045 : they said it was in order to have counter copy with % for color and black
they re supposed to be "real technicals" and supposed to open technical manual to see that to put 2 doesn't existed .and see all they want in sp menu 8.
results:
All counter in 7.804 ok
All counter in 8 ,user menu counter ,printer config counter fault.
it s their own responsability ,we will probably sell them nvram and controller.
