    MPC5502 SC564

    Hello

    CAN YOU HELP ????

Have a mpc5002 with please wait and no fuser temperature increase and NO fuser error.
Removed HDD and formatted it and re installed, only to get SC564

Replaced pressure roller and Fuser film and still have it. Done SP 5801 - 01 and 02 still not working.

Ordered AC controller and complete fuser,,,,, do not want to fit them if i can help it

Has any one else had this and what was the fix

If you could advise all help well received.

You will need to replace the complete fuser to reset this error code, reset using SP5-810-2, then switch machine off/on

According to TSB 009 the original fuser must be replaced with a new fuser from parts. One that has already been in another machine will not reset the code. According to TSB 022 there is now a replaceable fuse in the new fusing unit that can be replaced in the field. I don't know if wiring for the replacement fuse is in the original fusing unit but it is worth checking against TSB 022.

When replacing the fuser sleve roller you shoul get a quick blow fuse with to enable you to perform the SP 810-02 reset ?
