The 28 and 33 are the same but the 3000 is an older and different animal

well as i like to mcgyver things
on the mpc2800 a mpc3000 toner is "almost" identical..
as i have/had no use for two mpc3000 black toners i tried to make it fit.
the front plastic needed some trimming and it went in but the machine doesnt see it..
        a different chip.
i get the feeling the toner is the same but wont go any further.
if it contaminated the dev unit i would eat a bag of developer just to know..

          Go figure...it doesn't fit and it's a different chip.
I knew there was a reason I simply use the right toner in the right machine
Can't think of any good reason not to.
