mpc 4000 copy wraps around pressure roller

Every time my customer tries to print a full page photo the print/copy will wrap around the press roller, and cause a jam code 19.
I have replaced all drums, ITB, FUSER, Transfer/Sep roller, have done all firmware updates.
Tried changing fuser temperatures, paper types, lead edge void size, paper direction.... Nothing has had any affect.
I am slowly going insane on this one.
Customer claims machine use to do the full page images with no problems.
Any help with this one will be greatly appreciated.

Seems like the paper is causing the trouble. When there's a lot of moisture in the paper the paper gets stuck in the Fusing Unit especially when printing full size color pages.

We have brought our own fresh ream with us.... No change, unfortunately.

Are they using original RICOH toner?

What is the leading endge of the page set to? If there is a large amount of black on a full page print, and a small lead edge, it will wrap around fuser rollers, no matter what yu do! This problem goes back to the Af220! Lol!

They are using Ricoh toner.
I increased the lead edge void with no change what so ever.
The machine is operating fabulously, other than when they are trying to do these full page color picture for their menu cover.
They keep telling me this has just started happening. They have had the machine for almost 3 years and have always been able to this particular job.

I haven't had the pressure roller wrap problem, but on other problems with full color full page photograph printing I've had some luck changing the settings in user tools to a heavier paper setting. I don't know if that will help, but if time permits you might want to try that.
I guess you might also want to check the fuser exit guide for the pressure roller to see if it is mounted correctly, sometimes the guide's hinge can pop apart and cause all manner of fuser jam joy. At least if the box your new fuser came in showed any signs of being handled roughly that is something you should do.

nodle, did you rebuild the fuser? or was it a new one from the box.

Check the those one way gear if it's on correct and the entrance guide plate.

Have you tried heavier paper, say 100GSM or even card as it's only for the customers from page, card would produce a better looking document too!?

I have had the exit unit seize up.. just enough to cause this might want to replace it or change bearings

Thank you everyone for all the good input.
I actually was able to get the machine going again.

As I had said earlier, the previous tech had not done a pm on this machine. I turned out that the Developer and the devloper units were sooo far out of spec. ( 600k) when the dv is rated at 240k and the units at 480k. It appears that the pages were being so overtoned that it would stick in the fuser unit.

All new DV units, along with all the other unit i stuck in the machine, she is prrr'n like a kitten.

Check the underside of the fuser stripper-plate for encrusted toner. Be very careful when cleaning it as it easily bends and can make a bad problem worse!
