Ricoh MPC2050 fax rings

I'm a canon tech but a friend asked me to sort his ricoh fax. i want to increase the number of rings before the fax auto answers ( or enable netswitch/faxability ) he has one line two numbers (fax and phone) i have set it to manual in the mean time and installed an old phone to hear the difference between the rings. i searched the forum and found instructions to get into service mode but they don't seem to work on this model. any help to either turn on selective ring or to get into service mode to increse the number of rings much appreciated.

Fax SP Mode > SP 2103-007

That changes the number of rings.

1. EnterSP Mode (Press yellow 1, 0, 7 then hold red/clear for about 5 seconds)
2. Select Fax SP Mode
3. Press direct SP then Enter SP 2-103-007 (G3-1 NCU Parameter 06) and set todesired number of rings & press # then exit SP mode.

Dude, so totally set SP 2103-007 to like, the number of rings that you want.

Just in case like, you needed that advice like, 3 times.

Thanks guys, the secret was the 5 second hold on the red button. i didn't know you had to wait. all sorted now. thanks again
