If you have access to My-Ricoh you can download it from there, otherwise you will have to buy it from a third party. Updating the firmware is easy for a tech to do, if you aren't trained you will need to hire someone who is; machines can be bricked from incorrect firmware updating.

Try purging the print queue first, we've had a lot of problems with corrupted PDF causing the print controller to hang. We think its related to Adode updates as we go for months without any problems then get a dozen SC 819's in a week.
