    Ricoh MP 5500 Finisher problem

    Hello, we have copule of Ricoh MP5500, it seems the paper come out of finisher shift tray is slow, so paper can not load in tray properly, any advise ? apprericate your response.

    More information, please?
    In the mean time, if that is the tray I'm thinking of, you might check the foam rollers on that tray, they could be worn out. Or the paper might not be flat enough to stack properly.

      Another thing to look at are the bushings of the exit section of the finisher. Over time they're collecting dirt and this leads to jams at the exit section.

        The sponge rollers above the shift tray need replacing.

          Had the same problem on a couple of finisher......check the exit roller bushings, and the sponge rollers, but in my case the problem was caused by dirt inside the exit bushings
