gmx.com works in Canada I use it all the time...

simple setup create acct online at gmx.com

ricoh input

mail.gmx.com as smtp server
port 587

user is the email you have created
email is the same as user
than password for that account

just tested it up front on showroom copier works minty fresh

Agreed. It does work (now). At the time, I didn't pay much attention to the SMTP settings in the post. A couple of years ago, it used port 25 - not to mention there was a time when it become very unstable and was completely down for at least a couple of months - if not longer.
Whatever issues there were, seem to have been clear
ed up.
I've played with it a bit again lately, and the only issue I've noticed, is that when a user uses GMX to facilitate scanning to email, and then forwards the message from there own account, it shows as forwarded from the GMX email.
