I can relate to what Sand has said because early in the year I was ill for a while and the machine was idle and cold for several weeks whilst the office was closed. then it was in low intermittent use as I recovered. From what Sand suggests perhaps the belt had stuck on its rollers, leading to localised overheating and then ripped as it started to move. That seems to make sense to me.
I only use standard paper 80gsm either A3 or A4. The fuser was definitely new OEM, all parts were delivered to me before installation. Sadly my ill health means that I am having to wind up my business and so the repair this time will be the cheapest possible to see me through the next few weeks.
