    fuctional prop with mpc6501

after a while or so when the machine has a print job sent to it,
    it displays functional problem

Im going to re format the hdd but if this isnt the prob, what else besides the main controll board could fix this issue
im not sure what the print perpetrators are set at just yet, im going to the client today.
    thanks

Well, the MP C6501 is one big functional problem, just kidding.

Check your SC-history. Every functional problem generates an sc-code and some of them are not visible, but they are logged.

Make sure the firmware is up to date, there are plenty of SC899 etc print problems with this model. Also, clear your Printer Application memory, then re-send the job. If it still happens try using a different program to print from.
