ricoh cl4000 dn Replace Inttrans Unit message will not clear

I just replaced the transfer belt on a Ricoh CL4000DN. I made sure the printer was unplugged, power and interface cords, I installed the belt, plugged the printer back in. The printer still has the message? Pardon my ignorance, however, I was expecting the printer to "reset" the count. How do I reset the count manually? Thank you.

I believe it generally does reset automatically, but if not, then you can reset with SP Mode 7804-009

Pretty sure on that one you hold the up and down buttons for like 5 seconds, then release and hit OK/Enter button should give you a Service ? Engine/ End menu, choose engine for SP mode

That is method 2 for use when the machine is already on. If the machine is off press and hold the "On Line" key and the "Escape" key together while turning on the power.

Thank you for all the information. I was able to clear the message; however, (lol) I found pressing the on line and escape buttons, simultaneously, damn near impossible, my fingers are still cramped from stretching, moreover, the issue is resolved.
