    MP C4000 Process Black Drop out

    Have a MP C4000 that black text is dropping out when process black. B&W is fine, and color is fine but text is dropping out...but not every time.
    I have not seen this yet and is per my customer...Pic is attatched...

      Do you know what kind of paper they wqere using? It looks very much like a fusing problem from using card stock or other thick with a 20# plain paper setting.

          This is a paper weight problem. In User Tools set the weight for the tray to the correct value and do the same in the printer driver settings. The paper is moving too fast through the Fusing Unit. The toner hasn't got enough time to fix into the paper.
