hi dear good morning i have ricoh mp7500 how can i update firmware , i have firmware but i don't know what is tha procedure.
what i will do plz anyone give ma idea.

The firmware update procedure is in the service manual of any machine.

Procedure is the same as any other Ricoh multifunction machine.

I am attaching the relevant part of the service manual for you to use.

Copy the firmware to a folder named ROMDATA on the SD card.

From the manual:

Doing the Software Update Procedure
An SD card with the software downloaded to it is necessary for this procedure.
1. Turn the main switch off.
2. Remove the SD card slot cover [A].
3. Hold the SD card [B] (the surface with
printing must be away from the front of
the machine), and install the SD card
in Slot C3 [C].
4. Turn the main power switch on.

wait until firmware update comes on screen.

Then select the firmware needed to update and press update.
Wait until finished, power off the machine and remove the sdcard.

RTFM !!! if your new to this or have never done it with a trained tech, don't do it by yourself!! you can hose the machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

better pull the nic cable b4 doing anything,and i think there is an order wth system and engine to be done

Also if it has a FAX option, disconnect the phone line.
