    [Misc] sc 990 in ricoh 2035

    i went to customer had this code .i met this before and no problem solved .but in this case i need help. i changed drum . and unplugged hd and ram machine working about 200 papers . then appeared agian. in the next visit i did common rest. and machine after 400 pp apeared again. the last thing .in this fucking machine. i will do clean switches .any suggestion

      SC990 is a generic software error, which could be anything, anywhere and at anytime. Trying to fix them is a futile task, I just ignore them unless they are appearing to the customer. Make sure that the firmware is up to date then pray it doesn't happen again.

              clean the machine!!! may need to do full pm with drum and developer. Many times I've gone out to a machine a tech could'nt resolve sc990, and found it to be a dirty pig.

                          i have this one once, i just replaced the developer, and clean the gear on the front area of development, lucky the sc code didnt comeback.
                          .....with all it shams, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.....
