Re: tjhe dreaded MP4000
How did you reset the count? It has to be done in PM reset, SP7-804-005, then you need to reboot the machine to clear the messageThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don't -

Re: tjhe dreaded MP4000
The SP in the manual is wrong, use the one I said in my previous post, but remember, the message won't go until you rebootThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

Re: tjhe dreaded MP4000
On this model you will also have to reset SP 7806-008. I had the same problem the first time I replaced one. Had to call tech support. I did check and it is in the lastest version of the Service Manual on TSRC.Ricoh-usa.com. I don't know if the manual has been updated in Europe.Comment

Re: tjhe dreaded MP4000
Strange, I have only ever reset SP7-804-005 and had no problems, except for the first time I replaced one, when, like everyone else, I followed what it said in the service manual. I haven't checked if it has been amended in the latest version of the manual as I no longer have to look up how to reset itThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment

Re: tjhe dreaded MP4000
It's actually SP1902, not 1092, and I've never had to do that. Sometimes the near end message clears without me even having to reboot.Comment
