Yes, compact is compactible. In malaysia, the price difference is simply too huge. For an original set of 4 colors(cymk), i can get 3 sets of compact toner. The compact toner in use is made in usa.Comment

Re: Breaking Marks and Lines - MPC2500
If you have a lot of trouble clearing the clog you can get a sheet of 11x17 or 8.5 x 14 and dump out the developer onto the paper, spin the make roller and use a sheet of paper to wipe in between mag and doctor blade then pour mix back into the unit. This might clear the clog and allow the mix to churn a bit more. Pretty much the last option besides replacing the developer.
To be honest the last time i put developer in one of these it was the black unit and it hadnt been replaced in over a million pages, probably not supposed to let it go that long but i really have few issues with developer and developer units in these machines. However we use only OEM toner which i believe has a small percent of developer mixed in with it to refresh the unit with. If your using non oem toner you will probably be replacing the developer and several other parts more often then needed.Comment

Re: Breaking Marks and Lines - MPC2500
if i was you..id check all filters on this machine and clean as heat is an issue with toner "rocking up for a lack of a better word"..good spacing behind copier so you are not sucking in the same hot air from copier..
also if i had time i would dump the developer unit out on a big newspaper and afterwards vacuum any clumps left in dev unit.
aFTERWARDS I WOULD USE A PLASTC flour sifter and sift only the fine powder on a new clean sheet of paper, discarding any rocks..
if time warrants vs price of a bag of developer..happy siftingComment
