[Error Code] MPW2401 SC899 when scanning

Hi Guys

Has anybody had SC899 on a MPW2401 when scanning? The machine copy's fine, but gives code when scan to folder or mail?

Only this time no tadaaaaaa? Firmware was the first thing I tried, and SC899 is not in the latest version Service Manual, only a RTB8A witch states do the Firmware. Anybody else maybe had this problem?

Well, in that case, are you sure that your scan settings are correct? (windows logon etc...) was a known issue on the 2400, when the machine fails 3 times to login during scanning sc899 occoured.

Yes there is no authentication set.

Also Vollegaas, are you quite sure about the firmware version (6.16) The RICOH RTB states version 9.61 should be done?

no sorry for that...that should be for the Mpw2400, my mistake. Witch OS, no authentication will not work since W7...

If I remember correctly, Windows 7 requires a valid user name and password for scan to SMB. There is a Custom/Special firmware available for Windows 8 and Server 2012. It wasn't listed on TSRC, but I checked rfg-esource and it was available there.
