Customer called that copying is OK but, when printing from computer printout is almost solid black with only faint image. Again only when printing. I have already replaced drum/blade/dev/corona and ID sensor couple a months ago to resolve SC-401 and CQ issues.

Have you checked that it is the correct printer driver? Or that the printer driver is maybe corrupt? I know that if you print to a b/w mfp with a colour driver for instance, it will print but all pictures will be black blocks. I would suggest remove and reinstall driver and go from there. Also try different files as the document itself could be corrupt. Have had several emailed pdf files look fine but when you try and print them they fail. Good luck!

does it do the same thing when you print a count sheet or an smc report? that would eliminate outside sources such as print drivers and applications.Comment
