What i have done: i have cleaned the machine from all the dust and toner marks.I have replaced with new ones all the door and fuser conectors.I have replaced from other (2) working machines the two photoreflexive sensors before fuser and after fuser. I have cleaned also the conections under the scanner. I have replaced the drum and developer with new ones .Of course i have dismounted and cleaned, all the mechanism arround the misfeed area.Of course there is no paper....I have checked the doors lockers, cleaned them and checked them...The misfeed remains...Any ideeas?

Re: ricoh 2035e fake misfeed code j001 area c
A jam code J001 is a feed jam found at power on. Jam area C would normally be between the fusing unit and the paper exit area. Remove the ARDF. Remove the scanner unit. Remove the exit cover. Check for paper scraps. Clean/replace the exit sensor.Comment

Re: ricoh 2035e fake misfeed code j001 area c
If your machine has the duplex and/or the bypass units installed, it is likely the problem is in the area where they attach to the machine, where you can't see it. It sounds like you don't mind disassembling your machine, so remove the duplex unit (be careful, the support has a fairly strong spring in it) and/or the bypass unit, remove the cover, and you will probably find a scrap of paper wedged in the sensor. That is normally caused by somebody pulling a paper jam out the wrong way rather than using the blue jam removal knob behind the access cover just below the bypass unit on older machines, or not using the blue knob visible on the lower right hand side when opening the right and front covers on everything else.
Sorry if you've already tried that.Comment

Re: ricoh 2035e fake misfeed code j001 area c
is the cover open light on the display still or does it come on when you open the doors?
It could be one of the cover switches isn't working and preventing you from clearing the jam as the machine isn't recognizing you opening and closing the door.Comment

Damn, you beat me to it, that's just what I was going to ask. If the door switches are faulty then the machine doesn't recognise that you've cleared the jam, even rebooting won't helpThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don'tComment
