question on swapping out a mpc2800 drum

i am prepping a used mpc2800 to install at an account and dont like one of the color drums.has 50k but
there are some slight grooves in drum that i worry about..probably from a dirty charge roller..
if i pop in a drum from my parts machine wth 2k on it should i set it as new?or just pop it in and leave it?
i plan on swapping the full drum/dev unit as one unit..

Just swap the drum and do the normal process control procedure.

thnx are you talking about the drum setting or developer setting..
do you guys do a ACC calibration after swapping drums and/or developer units?
