Could be any number of things, check the SMC report and find out what codes the machine is actually throwing.

That machine is set in that manner so it resets when certain codes occur,SP5875 is to enable or disable SC auto reboot I beleve.
There are several types of SC codes, ones that detect and describe problems that culd damage machine, ones that focus on certain part of machine and so on...
SMC list will tell u best or you can look them up under section 7403 in service mode.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

SP5875-001 to be exact. Set it to 1 one and the machine will display the SC.
